Currently they have a diesel on the rear of the train and stop 1309 right before that offending trackage you mentioned. The train has been 7-8 coaches plus the diesel lately. 1309 still works decently, but I suspect it will be a little better in the fall as train sizes increase. Photographically the best 1309 stuff is the way its pointed now....all upgrade. Except for 1309 blowing for crossing back to Cumberland there is little advantage to the engine turning anyway at Frostburg the way I see it. Also as it is now, nothing has to be turned on the Cumberland end (Ridgeley, WV). I just wish they ran more than one train per day.
Question....besides 1309 are there any other compounds running in North America? I don't think so, but there may be some engine that slipped through the cracks I don't know about.
