Back in the Fall, 2018 issue of the C&TS Dispatch, I wrote up a story on fire mitigation practices on the C&TS.
You can access that issue (Vol. 31 #3) at [www.coloradonewmexicosteamtrain.org]
I'm sure at least portions of what was presented that fall (post-Durango fire) will be under consideration given the current conditions.
