While it maybe true that a good majority of the money "invested" to attend a work session goes to outside sources (like the local Chama economy too), it does allow a priceless and very important event to occur: YOUR PRESENCE AND PARTICIPATION AT A WORK SESSION. Just imagine what it would cost to have an outside contractor come and do some of the crazy stuff (like rebuild and rehang an engine stall door)that needs doing. I doubt you could find anyone willing to tackle some of the projects the "Friends" grapple with each year during the work sessions......
