Given the remains present at this site and their history, I'm surprised it has not been more widely discussed among railfans. Please enjoy the following photos of the Colorado & Wyoming Railway's 70' turntable right where they left it at the yard in Segundo, CO. Directly to the east of it once stood a five stall roundhouse.
Other than Corkscrew Gulch, which has nearly rotted away into the mountainside, could this be the last truly abandoned turntable still intact in Colorado? Surely there is another.
