In the past decade Ive flipped 180 degrees from taking things to now just mainly taking pictures and even putting artifacts back where I found them years after removing them. The sad fact is the items you find and cherish will not mean anything to your descendants and very likely be thrown away. Better to have items visible in situ than gone forever…
