The end is near..... for the standard gauge, but not for RGS 20
There seems to have been an explosion of new structures on the south end of Antonito recently. Back in Rio Grande days this was well into the beginning of the wide open spaces. 493 was getting a roll on her freight leaving Antonito in November 1967, and approaching the same highway crossing as RGS 20, only 54 years earlier.
