The original B&SR turntable bridge (made longer at Edaville) is at Sheepscot right now. It will be modified closer to it's original length with permission from owner Maine Narrow Gauge who is loaning the bridge to the WW&F.
A new turntable bearing support block was made when the engine house floor was poured. The bearing block was later transported to the new turntable site at MP 8.3.
The turntable will be set at a new location which is 3.3 miles north of Sheepscot. Here, the crew measures from the center bearing to the rail crib where the siding will approach the turntable. The mainline will approach at the left crib. The bridge will be set so the mainline can be extended north past the turntable at a later date.
General view of the turntable site with the ring rail ties in place around the center bearing block. The paved road is State Rt 218.
