Back when 3985 came to Chicago in 2002 our Supt didn't grasp the the number of people that were going to turn out to see it. He thought I was overreacting when I had several Managers in place as extra security around the depot in West Chicago, where they were going to board. My favorite idiot was the one set up at the end of the platform with his camcorder, between live mains. He was very upset when I changed him off & started to get belligerent, even though I'd identified myself as a RR employee, was wearing my radio harness. A quick call to one of the Special Agents changed his mind.
