Another Slim Princess Day

The monsoon seemingly has arrived a bit early this year (thankfully) so planned to make my bike ride to Hesperus this (Saturday) morning. But plan got delayed when I heard #18 whistle for Trimble Lane. A bit surprising since this is the fourth day in a row that she is running. Perhaps the boiler wash for 3493 uncovered a problem?
Anyhow, the bike ride was put off in favor of a few more photos. Since I'm heading east the week after next this may be my last chance to see a doubleheader with #18.
1) Bring 'er on back - tieing onto the train at Hermosa.
The sun went behind some early AM clouds at the US 550 overpass enabling this "wrong side" shot.
Another "wrong side" shot at Shalona Crossing.
My ride is looking shaky. Will the rain hold off? Answer - yes. Mission accomplished!
