Sumpter Valley Ry.#1 Brooks Mogul

Quite a group has turned out to pose for their photo with Sumpter Valley Ry. Brooks mogul #1. #1 is c/n 530 built in 1881 for the Utah Northern. It was traded to the Eureka Nevada in 1912 as #5. One of the interesting things about this photo is that the air pump has been removed from the side of the engine presumably for repair. The scan is from the SVRR Archive.
