Here is a snippet from the most recent WW&F Newsletter article on the Engine House on that issue:

Our engine house will be post and beam construction, with split cedar shingles on the exterior like the original. Fire prevention is a concern; the Wiscasset engine house burned down in 1931. The walls of our engine house will be treated with a fire retardant, as was done for Trout Brook bridge. Our engine house will have a cement floor and an elevated cement foundation for the walls, so any locomotive embers that might fall on the floor or be swept into a corner will not find combustible material.
