Well technically they were not built with a duck bill roof ends. They had a metal cover(veranda?) similar to Fan Markoff's combine. Later they were rebuilt as a duck bill, and again as a bull nose. Sometimes the bull nose was framed up over the duck bill. Coach 284 at CRRM is one such car. The duck bill roof line can be seen inside the car.
