Sorry I haven't responded this week. It was a crazy week at TVRM. Yes the 73 less powerful than a K-28. The first thing I noticed when I worked on the 70 at Dollywood was the lack of space when underneath one in the inspection pit, because the outside frame engines have their bearings outside the frame. These things are tiny inside the frame, you can barely fit your head between the brake rigging to stand up and turn a wrench or look at bearings and boxes or shoes and wedges closely. I mentioned that to one of the guys at Dollywood who was fascinated with the Colorado narrow gauge and he said, "Wow! I never thought about that!".
I'm working on the next section of the video to Glacier. I'll make sure to post it here when I'm done.
Any ideas or suggestions with how I'm editing I'm interested in. I'll try to keep going with the on-screen captions so no one is talking over the show, and I'm trying to cut as little as possible so it's in real time.
Thanks!
