In 1987, my wife and I purchased a home in Palisade, CO facing the then DRGW main line and less than a block from a crossing. The realtor selling the house made it clear that we were near an active railroad with trains constantly blowing for the crossing and asked us multiple times if we were ok with that. I have worked multiple complaints over the years regarding train noise, and in most cases, the homeowner had no idea what they were getting into.
