The entire 3' gauge narrow gauge system in Guatemala is comining alive. There is steam throughout the system sleeping in old roundhouses and all the equipment one could desire. One steamer, baldwin 1947 2-8-2 outside frame, is back in service with anotherone getting ready for a double header into El Salvador and Puerto barrios in February 2001. Come on down and enjoy the scence. Guatemala City rail facilities welcomes you.
