Tractor-
Sorry for the confusion about the Biggs train, I actually was going to edit that line, but had to run. All that content was extracted from perhaps 6 or 7 old references I had on file, with a historic confused reference. I had never saw the operation at Kennedy Park, I always assumed it was long gone, but I guess I could have seen it when I was in the area.
Ed-
I do know where that Biggs train came from, it was originally operated at a park in Sad Monkey, Texas. It is a very nicely built shay, and it was intended to operate at a logging railroad museum in Oroville. A Swayne/WSL log car was also owned by the same guy, and was going to be a very nice operation that would have run along a reservoir. I think local politics got in the way of progress, mostly. The 3' gauge log car is in North Carolina now.
Several trucks from the Sad Monkey operation were used to make the cars that now operate at Bishops Pumpkin Farm in Wheatland, CA.
Hope that helps fill the gaps.
