Yes, it was a sea mine in the Aegean Sea on November 21, 1916.
Sunk by an explosion caused by a naval mine of the Imperial German Navy near the Greek island of Kea and sank 55 minutes later, killing 30 people. The ship had never entered commercial service, Upon completion she was acquire by the Royal Navy and used as a hospital ship.
The were 1,035 survivors. One of these, a nursing aid, was a survivor of the
Titanic on which she was a cabin attendant (stewardess). A biography of this woman, Violet Constance Jessop (2 October 1887 – 5 May 1971), has been published;
