I've heard both yes and no. I'll wait and see what happens. Logistically speaking, having all locomotives burning one type of fuel makes a ton of operational sense. Cuts down on fuel storage, costs, and crew training.

We will see what happens, in 50 years, if everything is oil, people won't care. They will just be happy steam is running. as we should all be. Sure coal is nice, but I would rather see the railroad continue to operate into the future then be turned into a bike path.
