Olaf,
I remember the late, great Ernie Robart mentioning to me that you were researching and preparing a book on the SP’s Cloudcroft and Capitan branches— is this project still in the works? I hope so.
Two very interesting branches for sure. They weren’t narrow gauge, but might as well have been with the wooden trestles, steep grades and tight curves.
