Yes we knew that, which is odd, unless some of the film was made in 1951! We are not sure yet. This throws another wrench into things!
We know he was out west in 1949 and 1950. Thats because he shot the Denver and Inter Mountain RR, which was gone by the end of 1950.
So we were thinking his second Goose ride was 1950. Maybe some of the footage is 1951, the part that is extra footage, or perhaps he didn't shoot movies in 1951.
Or he got the slides from someone else!!! Lots of guesswork in unraveling this puzzle known as vintage film with little or no info! At least it will be preserved and documented to the best of our ability.
