In NGN #1, June 1949 it is stated that track damage was from Ophir to Dolores.

In NGN #2, August 1949 it says that service Ridgway to Rico resumed August 2nd.

Resumption of service Rico to Dolores not covered by NGN (#3 is more about San Juan discontinuance & Valley line abandonment petitions) but ISTR that it was in September of '49. Big push was to get the track fixed in time for the Fall stock rush.

NGN #5 states that the last Goose run in regular service was 12/18/49.
