I doubt 452 went anywhere without its tender. During the time 455 borrowed 452's tender, I doubt 452 went anywhere. According to the above, the RGS continued to lease the entire 452, even though they only used its tender, until the spring of 1951 when 455 went down for overhaul. When 455 was set aside, 452 got her tender back and went back to work for the RGS. 452's last use was in November of 1951 on the last cleanup train south out of Rico with equipment the D&RGW wanted in Durango. The scrapper borrowed 452's tender for use on the scrap train on the south end using RGS 42 in the summer/fall of 1952. When 42 came back to Durango in the spring of 1952, 452 again got her tender back, but was never used again
