Alaska Marine Lines runs regular scheduled service to Alaska locations. From looking at the photos on its website most of the shipments are containers. However, we have seen pictures of locomotives and cars being handled on barges without containers. So the locomotive may be handled as a special move. .

The regular sailing schedule has the barge(s) for Southeast Alaska leaving every Wednesday and the Skagway stop is scheduled for the following Tuesday.

AML's website has still video cameras at its various terminals. The facilities of interest with this shipment are:the video cameras at Seattle Loading Dock and the one at Skagway Loading Dock..
