#9's crew wasn't quite done for the day. I had been asked if I'd like to run a 2-foot gauge engine. Dumb question. So, engineer Richard Sissions and his fireman J.T. Smith allowed me to run their sweet little mill up to Alna Center and back before they went home. Here we are getting read to leave.
Yours Truly and my partner in crime, Everett Leuck, after surviving a trip to Alna Center and back at the mercy of a hoghead who had never touched a vacuum brake valve in his life... That's fireman Smith in the gangway.
HATS OFF TO THE WISCASSET WATERVILLE & FARMINGTON RAILWAY MUSEUM. They put on a great show.
