DSP&P #24 was on display on the campus of Iowa State College (of the Mechanical & Agriculture Arts) from around 1905 until 1942 when she was scraped for the War Effort. (Philistines!)

ps Once asked my Mom, who was an undergrad at ISC then, about this. She had no memory of the engine, either on display or being scrapped. Of course she was in Botany so it was probably on a different part of the campus from where she hung out.
