i agree bill. the cement floor and a pallet jack sure made the job of installing the brake piston/reservoir/triple valve assembly easier. same can be said for installing couplers.

i don't know if you got photos of us installing the coupler on the 'a' end of the car. we used the pallet jack and two hydraulic jacks to lift the coupler into place. the draft gear set up on the narrow gauge cars is probably close to 500 lbs which has to be lifted into the cheek plates and then secured with the follower straps and carry iron. that job could probably be done with a car transmission jack as well but the pallet jack makes the job safer and easier.
