Re: 0251 and 0274

That....sucks....i just got a little sick to my stomach seeing those photos

I saw the inside of both cars back in 2004-2005 and they were in excellent condition from what i could tell but obviously couldn't see the underframes. At the time they werent interested in parting with either car and so we didnt pursue anything further

The 0274 was a standard jackson amd sharp car but thr 0251 was one of a kind as it was not a former tourist sleeper like the 0250 and 0252 and i believe was an original db&w coach

Its not like there weren't two railroads nearby that could use two more coaches..... I always assumed that they would end up in good hands when the camp was done with them. So much for that and just goes to prove nothing is safe outside of museum hands and even then not always safe

What a waste

Hopefully a better fate awaits the d&rg billmeyer and small boxcars that are still unpreserved anywhere yet
