Im not sure where you are getting your information from but #71 has not been hydro'd in recent years. #71 was ut checked about 10 years ago when there was an attempt to start a restoration. Since then the shop crew there has changed and a new generation has taken over. There is still hope to one day get 71 running, but right now maintaining and improving 70 and 192 is the top priority. As for the 190 class dont let these engines deceive you. They may not be good with heavy trains over long grades but they handle the tonnage well on the grades at Dollywood and Tweetsie.
