Thanks Erik,
I knew there had to be something more to it. But how come they stuck the locomotives in a hole at the bottom of a hill and situated the rolling stock perpindicular to the access? Was the building built before they had any idea of putting railroad stuff in there or was it designed that way?
Glad you enjoyed the Pentrex tape "Eureka & Palisade". As you saw, that was on the Durango & Silverton. You may know that in 1997 we took Eureka to the Cumbres & Toltec. It was a fantastic time. A video was made of that trip. If you're interested in seeing Eureka on the C&TS, drop me an email.
