It looks like you (or youse guys) had gotten some more lamps by the time of Jim Trowbridge's charters in late September, 1996. In the first of the photos posted a few days ago at [
ngdiscussion.net] both helper #463 (doing most of the work, according to her impartial engineer) and road engine #497 appear to be wearing not only class lamps but white flags. In the second photo - a closer view of #497 - it looks to me that the lamps are the same D&RGW style pictured above.

p.s. It looks like #498 was also wearing this style of class lamp on her last day in service - 08/29/68 - after which she too was stored in the Alamosa roundhouse

(Note that her headlight was not lit in the above photo, taken just below Cumbres Loop - aka 'Tanglefoot Curve' - but was lit as she approached Antonito a couple of hours later.)
