I think OM has the same set upp as OY. In addition there is a nifty part that allows you to set the engine (as in Rotary part) brake seperately or in addition to an automatic set. There is what looks like an adapter ring between the triple valve and the aux res where the independent air goes in. Inside is a butterfly valve to keep the air going the right way and keep the cylinder air pressure from blowing out the indepentend brake valve.
WABCO sold this straight air adapter for H and K triple valves. Swayne Lumber used it and all the WSLCo cars from them have this set up. It allows the use of automatic and straight air at the same time without cutting anything out.
