The 492 and 483 will hopefully have the asbestos removed this summer. The engine you saw with its jacket and lagging removed was the 488, which recently recieved it's detailed ultrasonic boiler inspection as the first step in the boiler work necessary to comply with the new FRA rules. And a lot of work will be required, hopefully to be completed during next winters shop program. The 488 was moved out of the old roundhouse, and the 483 put inside.
