It is now in Antonito, on the Cumbres & Toltec, as part of the "historic" passenger car project. They have cleaned the car out, storing the inventorying the parts received with it, and have a restoration feasibility study completed. It is generally stored under cover, either in the Friend's car shed or in the new car shop.
It is a historically significant car, possibly the first 39' coach on the D&RG. It was built as "La Vita" and as such was featured in Billmeyer and Small ads and in Flemming's Narrow Gauge in America (as reprinted by Grahame Hardy)
