This is the second time in a week that I've been made to look like an idiot because I posted in good faith, in an effort to aid in getting riders, decisions from operations that were later countermanded by the BOD of the RGRPC or the Commission.
I'm getting a tad tired of it. In the first case, it was the work train. I'll probably never get the whole truth as to why passengers were kicked off it, but even the partial truth that I'm aware of, is indicative of the same mucky-muck meddling that I've warned about before.
Now, apparently Leo got all pushed out of shape because running a train from Chama and not Antonito is 'unfair' to Antonito. I was under the impression that the RGRPC contract had no 'equal service' provision.
I would point out that also, after having thought I had an agreement to put up a webcam in the Antonito yard, Leo back-pedalled like a pro when I showed up to talk about it.
All winter long I avoided getting into the Leo-bashing. I'm beginning to see the light...
