Scott... The #169 project is now being spearheaded by the Alamosa Chamber of Commerce . Work has already begun and this group is serious about repairing the locomotive to operation .It is my understanding that the boiler may be in very good condition . Fund raising is under way and I was told they have a local grant-writer working for them . This is a fine group and I sure recommend you call them and give them your support .I am very sorry that I do not have a phone number or address handy ,but I will look for it and post it when I can .
