300 gallons is about the max for a one ton cab and chasis to handle in this flat country. By the time you add a engine powered pump, reel(s) and other firefighting tools you will be at or passed the weight rating of the truck. I expect that we can get away with an overloaded truck better down here in Texas than one could in the somewhat less level country where the NG runs.
