Would you elaborate on the Creede Branch purchase? Little further history on coach 0252. It was placed on the west bluff overlooking Trout Lake. The owner was Karl Schaeffers dad (Karl of Ridgway RR Museum fame)It was then sold to another partie(s). I was fortunate to have a summer home right next to coach 252 for over 15 years. Never could get an answer about buying the coach as it had little use in later years. (I don't know what I would have done with it if I was able to purchase it.) It did eventually go to Durango and then to Don Shank in Monte Vista.
As for trucks, contact Jack Campbell at the CRRM. We have patterns for truck castings and have a program for others to obtain same.
