Sorry it has been awhile since posting. We have made a reasonable amount of progress on #20. Brendan has been pushing ahead with the boiler and all the staybolts are in below the radial area. Andrea "Sparky" is making radial and crown bolts at this time. Zeb has been working on the brake cylinders and he discovered that one is 2 inches shorter than the other - what a surprise. Washout plugs were rebuilt or made new by Paul. Ron made a new dome lid to replicate the old iron one which we unfortunately could not use because we found casting voids that the RGS had filled with lead. Joe and Chris have made good progress on the tender and that is now back on the radar and will be finished this spring. Linn finally got back on the frame and rebuilt the tumbling shaft and is installing it. Once that is done and the final cross tie is in place, Erich and Linn will start tramming for shoe, wedge, and wheel work. All the wheels are repaired and ready for machining and new axles on 1 and 2. Only one rod needs repaired.
