Though not narrow gauge, it is steam! I had the opportunity to shoot some video of Union Pacific 4-8-4 #844 on its eastward journey from Cheyenne to Council Bluffs this past week. Once in Council Bluffs, #844 will pull a longer train dubbed the 'Shiloh Limited' to Arkansas, carrying Civil War reenactors bound for the Battle of Shiloh reenactment in Tennessee.

Here is a short excerpt from the North Platte to Grand Island segment:
