Not much more to report. The two trains are still hot and with their cars on 12th Street. The Big Al diesel left town this morning about 8:30 with San Juan County's D-8 cat. Pete Maisal's track hoe is already down in the canyon. I took several pictures of the slumbering trains this morning about 6:30 as they sat in the morning fog:

The river doesn't get blocked, and the debris is taken care of by the river as well, just as if there was no railroad there. That's why there are rocks in the river. I'm thinking this is much like the rock slides several years ago. More as I know about things.
