Death Valley Railroad Caboose No. 100

At the Pacific Northwest Railroad Archive we have hundreds of scans of freight cars built by Seattle Car & Foundry, later renamed Pacific Car & Foundry. In July 1915 SC&F built caboose No. 100 for the Death Valley Railroad in California. It was loaded on UP flat car UP 10231 with the cupola removed. Here is the caboose getting ready to depart the factory at Renton, WA.
