NCNG #5 Arrives at NSRM

Nevada County Engine #5 was trucked to the Nevada State Railroad Museum in Carson City, Nevada without incident. The unloading was a little tricky due to the curved approach track to the shop but with patience, she was safely unloaded. After reuniting the engine with her tender, both Engine 5/Tahoe and her sister engine Glenbrook were pulled out near the turntable for a brief photo shoot and then both put away on the same track in the shop building. We plan to run #5 this coming Thursday so to get some firing and throttle experience and work out any problems that may come up before "The Great Western Steam Up" on July 1 through 4.
