The Beaumont is quite the place. We were fortunate to see the entire inside prior to this recent refurbishing and the building was little unchanged from when it was built. It was not the elegant interior it is now, but a typical Victorian era hotel--one bath per floor, no fancy wallpaper, nice trim however and the grand staircase was very fine. The dining room had had part of the ceiling collapse, and that has been restored. The Kings, who purcased the hotel at auction took us through the building and we were considered for the work, but we were tied up on the Nugget building in Telluride. It is worth seeing without a doubt.
