Perhaps the latest in the spring the D&RGW operated a rotary. Probably only Jerry Day would know.

April 20, 1941 (Sun.) Rotary OM, with 485-476, operate Chama to Alamosa.
Chama extra east, engines 485 and 476, rotary OM, to Alamosa after Cumbres Big Horn turn

Arrive Cumbres 4:30 AM, 50 minutes water and flange storage

Arrive Big Horn, appears to read 9:37 AM, 15 minutes turn
Depart Big Horn 10:02 AM westbound

Depart Cumbres 1:00 PM, eastbound
Arrive Alamosa 5:45 PM
