I sure do hope they keep running I plan on doing the same!
While the trip to Antonito was slow going and we were the only passengers the Conductor/Brakeman made good company both directions we talked alot about the NG, the SL&RG and whats its like living around and working in Alamosa. Real nice fellow wish I could remember his name.
He even said SL&RG should lay 3rd rail to Antonito and restore 169 from Alamosa and that they (SL&RG) should try and get the operating contract for the C&TS
