The owner of the mine is so happy to get that sh** outa there after having it sitting in the way for 23 years, that he has a team of 5 of his best guys there to help us...they were a big help rolling the tender outa the way, 1st movement in a long time.
The tender was easy, cleaned out the firewood, water hoses and other stuff left as it was. But this is a working cement quarry that works Saturdays and the mineral left the cruser and had several conveyor belts dumping powdery mineral, UPWIND from us the whole day, and no this is not a picture of Astronaut Foot Print on the Moon, it is my shoe print on the right cylinder cover where 23 years of dust has been collecting...
Notice in the pictures the line of side dump ore cars still sitting there loaded waiting 23 years for there trip to the closed mill 18km away? The line of cars is over 40 cars long...and disappears into the woods.
