Changing Durango Landscape

I as looking at this 1960 view today after a recent visit to Durango and trying to relate it to the current landscape.....and really couldn't. It is somewhere between Carbon Junction and Durango, but I can't really place it in terms of anything that exists today (Walmart, new highway, etc.) Part of the problem is I don't really remember where I was when I took it.

Help!
