Don't wait too long. The whistle doesn't actually belong to Earl, but he does have the use of it. According to the actual owner, the whistle may go back to the Pacific Northwest some day, when a suitable loco becomes available for it.

It's an audio treat, believe me, but it's best heard at a distance. Powell's have a raspy base note that is filtered out by distance. Trees and high humidity helps too.
