D&RGW Pile Driver OB

Howdy,

My name is Cliff Young. I and 50 other volunteers have been restoring D&RGW Pile Driver OB (0363) back to operational status. (not just a static display) To date the volunteers have put in over 10,000 hours in the restoration process. The group who are doing the restoration work in Colorado Springs, CO hope OB will be back on its home rails later this summer.
I volunteered to take the 1,000+ pictures that have been taken of the restoration process and put them in some order so that a pictorial record will be available to anyone who would like it once the project is finished. In this photographic record we would like to include pictures of OB prior to 1990. From the Western History collection at Denver Public Library we have secured 13 of Bob Richardson’s photos. A gentleman in Florida is providing another of Bob’s photos. Harry Sherman of Denver has graciously allowed me to come to his house and scan his negatives of OB in Alamosa, CO. Also from the Dorman collection there are some photos. If you would be willing to allow us to place your photos in this collection or know of some one who would be willing please contact me. Credit will be given.
