I believe it is the Conejos River bridge just north of Antonito, but in comparing the scene with current Google views apparently the wooden trestle has been replaced by a very obscure culvert. Can any one here confirm the location for me. Thanks.

Car 511 is named after Tagish Lake, which is situated between Tutshi Lake and Atlin Lake in the Yukon Territory near Carcross. This tradition of car naming transfers the names of displaced cars onto new arrivals. Previously, Lake Tagish adorned the side of car 248. I believe the 512 is still expected to arrive in Skagway by the end of the year.

Also, take note of the full-sized AAR couplers on this car. This style of coupler is rumored to be installed on every piece of equipment in the coming years. No true testing has happened yet, and with its incompatibility with the current coupler setup, it will be interesting to see how this develops.

Several other items bothered me. He received a cab ride from Osier to Sublette based on only the conductor’s approval. Isn’t that something that management should be aware of and approve for insurance and other reasons, for example?

Finally, he uses music that is not credited, a song maybe by Dolly Parton? Other members on this forum credit music used in their videos.

Am I being picky? Yes, maybe too much. I enjoy the videos but have a personal bias against joining any social media (Faceplant, Instasomething, YT, etc.) so avoid the hoards that give comments there. Here the word Bosen used to identify a docent brought me to highlight this video. Maybe someone with a YT account can give Mr. Mainline some critical feedback.
